The Stable

Comfortable, cosy, clean. Close to Whitby etc. Hosts are very nice people.

Close to a main road makes it noisy overnight with traffic. If you’re use to this type of sleeping conditions you’re fine . We prefer & require a less noisy traffic area to sleep better. . Could do with new plug sockets with USB charging ports.

What a lovely Host & family, we were welcomed straight away and we were made to feel welcome in what was a great holiday home, it was ideal for the 5nights we were staying, the Holiday Stable had all the bits to make your stay better, the kitchen was full of bits and a great welcome pack that helps set you all up after a long drive, We even met the family Dog and Alfie the dog was great and happy, the rooms were nice and beds were very comfortable and bedding and towels were soft and the decor was good, the view from the Holiday let in the Stable bedroom looked out and you could see the sea which was a nice view in the morning, there also was a lovely Shower upstairs and large Bathroom, there is a steeper staircase but it has a hand rail so if you need assitance there is a hand rail to go upstairs, also there is a downstairs loo as well, There is Car Parking next to the stable so easy to unload and load each day and its safe parking, Upstairs bedroom has a skylight which is great to look out at the stars at night and the wildlife like Owls etc flying over, There is a main road near the holiday let, but this is clearly put in the discription when you book, and we did not find a problem with the road at all for noise, it was easy going, so dont complain to the great host if you are not happy with the road, you should be happy its a great holiday let and we enjoyed everybit of it and we would stay again and recommend it to anyone, there is a easy road in to Whitby and also a Supermarket nearby, plus the NYMR is close by as well, The whole stay was great and you will enjoy it and the Host and family are fantastic, cant wait to book again, Thank you so much for making our stay so welcome and comfortable😀

It was central to everywhere we wanted to go, the hosts were wonderful & very accommodating the place was clean & well equipped & very comfortable

Location next to A171 road which was very noisy

Parking . The parking was nothing like the pictures. Very narrow. Host asked if the mirrrors folded in to give more room. End of yard you had to turn round a deisel tank etc which we were unable to do without shunting back and forth.
