Stable Cottage

This converted barn was fantastic every thing about it was so lovely kitchen was well equipped and fitting to the barn great having breakfast all together front room was cosy and loved the stuffed owl on the beams.

Good location

Bedroom floor creaked and kept occupant of bedroom below awake. 2nd twin room should have been advertised on Booking.com and Sykes as a children’s room, no fault of hosts at all but down to listing.

Lovely converted stables barn in the countryside, large open area. Really warm and homely. Very well equipped kitchen, even did baking of cakes and cookies for Halloween. Nicely decorated, plenty of towels and good bedding. Netflix and Disney plus which was a bonus for an evening of relaxing. Good base for travelling over to the coast , we did the steam train from Sherringham to Holt and an afternoon on the Norfolk Broads which was fun. Wells-Next-the-Sea and Holkham beach are well worth a day out.

The stairs are very steep and narrow not suitable for very young or if you have mobility issues, it was fine for us and my 12 year old loved his bedroom up there. No soap in the bathroom but not a big problem once we bought some.

The property had everything needed

The property wasn’t very clean. The upstairs floor boards creaked really badly. Stairs to upper level were not ideal - for elderly people definitely a No No!!
