Hayloft Cottage

The location of the property is excellent - quite close to a wedding at nearby Grand Villa Heights. The welcome pack was super - tea and cake, excellent. We could take our dog and the nearby walks were stunning. Fabulous views over the sea, and close enough to amenities in Scarborough or Whitby if needed.

Lovely Cottage in a lovely location.A good base to start your days outing.

The toilet is a bit tight in the recess of the bath room and the toilet seat was loose.It wasn't a problem for me but my wife was struggling.Maybe a wall handle or a raised seat frame would be a good option.

We had a lovely stay at Hayloft Cottage. It was good value for money, the kitchen was very well equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. We knew the location beforehand, so it was ideal, it's pretty remote (which is what we wanted) and great for accessing the Cleveland Way and other routes. Just a short drive to Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby, Scarborough and Dalby Forest. We loved that the farm had a horse and a pony, we saw wild deer, lots of other wildlife and did some lovely walks.

It was exactly what we expected based on the value for money. I can imagine some people may find the living room and bathroom pretty basic, but it was fine based on the price - clean and comfortable.

Lovely and cozy cottage, well equipped for self catering. Comfy beds. Mrs Cara Dobson (The owner) has left a treat for us which is very sweet & they provided information about places to eat, shops, post office, hospital, chemist etc. it will be wonderful to stay a bit longer but we only have a long weekend and back to work, definitely next time we will definitely do it. Easy access to Whitby and Scarborough and lots of places to visit. Highly recommended.
