Fiyatı uygundu, gitmem gereken yerlere yakındı. Oda küçüktü ama kullanışlıydı. Temiz havlu ve çarşaf bırakılmıştı.

Tuvaletin ayrı olması biraz zorluk yaratabilir. Mutfakta ve tuvalette çöp kutusu konmadığı için her dakika her küçük çöp için odama gittim. İyi ki çöp poşetlerim vardı, günlük çöpümü atamazdım yoksa. Yerler temizdi ancak yüzeylerde ince toz alerjim açısından sakıncalıydı. Masayı sandalyeyi ve dolapları kendim sildim.

To be honest, I liked the fact that you don’t really have to deal with anyone; you just turn up, pick up the keys, and the place is all yours – it’s really convenient. The flat was generally clean. But be aware that the bathroom and kitchen are shared.

I didn’t like the fact that one morning at around 7.30 am, I received a call from the hostel management saying that cigarette smoke had been detected coming from my room and that they had a new smoke detection system in place. I replied that I hadn’t been smoking and had absolutely no idea where that information had come from. As soon as I opened the window to air the room, there was cigarette smoke – one of my neighbours had been smoking. They told me the fine for smoking was 350 zlotys. I was very upset that I was being accused of something I hadn’t done.
