Had a great time in Palio!

Nice experience!

Nice and quiet accomodation, we had everything we need. It is recommended to have a car, because the accomodation is located on a steep road and we used the car most of the time. You can park the car behind the building. From one of the balconies (the kitchen balcony) the view is so nice, on one part you can see the sea and the hill in front of the property, full of vegetation. There are also some lovely local cats living around the building, that awaits you to feed them, if you like. The owner is very nice, he gave us some advices about places to eat, beaches, shopping, etc.

Clean cozy apartment

The apartment is super clean and it has literally everything you need. There was toiletry, slippers, paper towel, iron, filter coffee machine, washing machine, cuttlery, sugar, salt, oil etc. The apartment was a proper apartment, like you have enough space and it has two balconies. You feel like you are at your summer house. It's five minutes walk to the beach. The apartment is a bit on the hill so you need to walk up a bit but I don't think it's a big problem. Closest beach bar is Kikabu which I can totally recommend. Also if you feel like going to public beach you can walk a bit to Iraklitsa direction and after you pass SunPalio coffee place, you will see stairs on your left which takes you to the public beach. There is a shower and a cabin you can use freely. Also there are a couple of umbrellas for public use, if you are lucky enough you can have one of them. I have one more recommendation: If you want something different and you have a car you should try Koo Beach Bar which is 20 minutes away from the apartment. It is a huge, fancy beach club with energetic and loud pop music. A bit more expensive than beach bars in Palio but you still don't pay for the entrance or sunbeds.

Having a cold shower wasn't an issue for us, as we were accustomed to it. However, it's important to note that if you want hot water, you should remember to turn on the electric switch 20 minutes before taking a shower.

Good apartment with a nice view

The apartment has a functional layout with 2 balconies. I liked that the apartment had two ACs: one in the bedroom and one in the living area, which made cooling very efficient and fast. I also liked having a washing machine because I needed to wash the kids' clothes. It also has nice views from both balconies. The kitchenette is okay except the stove and coffee machine. The towels and sheets were of good quality cotton.

It's a bit far walking to the beach, especially for my 2.5 year old boy. The stove is too old and too slow heating up, which made warming up my son's milk and cooking oatmeal for my daughter in the morning a frustrating task. Also, I tried making coffee twice using the coffee machine, but it tasted like plastic, so I had to discard my expensive organic Columbian coffee.

Great apartament near Kavala

The apartament is really nice, very clean and you have all you need. The view from both balconies is fantastic. The parking is easy, behind the building. The street has easy access and is very quiet. You can get to Kavala in 10 minutes.

Exceptional

The view is fabulous, both to the mountains and to the sea. An incredible silence... The apartment is very spacious, equipped with absolutely everything you need (like home). The host gave us all the information we needed. Basically, we chose the accommodation to be as close as possible to the beach. Arrangement, cleanliness, sand of the brach, smooth entry into the sea, wonderful water is also a great plus for this accomodation. We have only words of praise and we recommend this apartment for a wonderful holiday in Greece.

The place was very clean, the view was perfect and the most important for me was that there was so quiet. Our host Thodoris was very kind. At all if i go again to Palio and the apartment is free, will rent it again definitely. I recommend it highly.

Много просторен апартамент във високата част на Палио. На най-тихото място :) Добре е да се движите с кола за по-бързо достигане на плажовете наоколо, защото възможностите са много! Всичко наоколо е в зеленина и гледките от двете тераси (една огромна и една малка откъм кухнята) са пленяващи. В апартамента има всичко необходимо за едно семейство, нищо няма да ви липсва! Чистотата и изрядна! И в двете стаи има климатици. В спалнята леглото е огромно и много удобно. Двата дивана във всекидневната се разтягат и са достатъчно широки. В банята има пералня, вана, щипки за простора, сешоар. В кухнята има всякакви уреди - печка с котлони (от стария тип, но загряват бързо!), хладилник, кана, газов котлон, тост. Има достатъчно съдове (различни по размер тенджери, чинии, чаши), прибори и дори подправки. Топлата вода се включва и изключва от един бушон и след 20 мин е гореща. Повечето врати са плъзгащи се, което беше в плюс за нас заради малкото дете. По стените на стаите и коридора има прекрасни фотографии, които създават настроение за пътешествия :) Нашето семейство не се спря да обикаля - о. Тасос, Кавала, крайбрежните градчета наоколо, плажовете Амолофи, красива пещера - всичко е от 5 мин до около 1 час път. Паркира се зад сградата или на 20 м от нея до пътя. Хазяйнът е много мил човек, комуникацията беше безупречна! Още с резервирането в Букинг, той ни поздрави с "Добре дошли"в чата! По време на престоя се поинтересува дали всичко е наред. Препоръча ни ресторанти наблизо, които бяха наистина добри.

Единствено леко твърдите за спане дивани.
