A/C. Upon our arrival, the indoor temperature in the apartment was 31.5°C. We immediately turned on the air conditioning to maximum cooling. The A/C was only able to lower the indoor temperature very slowly. We barely slept the first night due to the heat, and we woke up several times during the next two nights as well (even though the A/C was running continuously). It was only after the fourth day that the temperature in the apartment began to reach an acceptable level (26°C). Response to the host's reply below: I really dislike being treated like a fool—especially I was the pay guest and, incidentally, I deal with mechanical engineer specializing in heating and cooling systems. 1. I set the air conditioner remote to cooling mode at 18°C. 2. The thermostat in the apartment displays the indoor temperature, as that is what regulates the heating during the winter. 3. A paying guest is under no obligation to be "not boring"—especially since we never even met in person. 4. The host's spiteful remarks regarding my future booking speak for themselves and serve as a useful guide for his future guests.
