Great value for money
We had no problems, but kitchen is quite small when we had 5 people eating/cooking, but this wasn’t a real issue.

Great location, property was to a high standard everything catered for. It was like home from home. There was also information provided for local walks etc which we utilised. Great weekend.

This was our second visit to the Dales and just as good as the first. The property is located centrally in Stanhope and is close to the shops, cafes and riverside. There is plenty of space within the cottage for a multi-generational family. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a nice seating area in the rear yard. We were very comfortable here and would happily stay again.

We stayed during very cold weather and the house was really toasty and has a really powerful hot shower.
The courtyard is pretty small, so not much outside space in warm weather. Didn’t apply to us as was February.
Pet peeve here - had to buy washing up liquid as about a tablespoon’s worth left in the cottage. When you’re paying £250 for 2 nights it’s quite irritating having to buy a bottle.

Good location. Good value. Property as described, good for family as two bedrooms with twin beds and one with double.
Suggestion: A shelf or surface to put family toiletries on next to the sink would be useful.

Lovely homely house😀
Basically it was all fantastic!! Only potential downside was the kitchen / dining area was a bit cramped for a group of 6 (adults & teens)

Facilities, location
Bedding was too thick for summer. Would have liked the option to use a thinner cotton bedcover on double bed.

Property has everything you need, great location to the high street for a selection on shops, pubs and a couple of takeaways. Internet was fast and reliable. House was larger than the photos show, little back yard is great and it was super clean and tidy with comfy sofas. It was a lovely stay thank you.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Our one wish would be that the main bedroom had a larger bed the room definitely is big enough for it. My husband is tall and his feet hung off the end! But we knew it was a double when we booked.

The mattress on the beds were the only thing to let my stay down

Lovely village, clean house, spacious rooms.
Kitchen a bit small for family eating, bit squashed around the table. Small outdoor space.
