Convenient cozy place just outside the city!

Shower could have been cleaner

Room was spotlessly clean (as was the rest of the property) Bed was comfortable The common kitchen area had handy cooking/dining facilities and also a refrigerator Owner was extremely friendly and chatty Price was very reasonable (especially for Iceland/Reykjavik) Self check-in process was easy and straightforward Located in a quiet residential street, just a 5-minute walk from Mjodd Bus Station

The property is located quite a few miles outside Reykjavik City Centre, although this is compensated for to a good degree by being extremely close (5-minute walk) to Mjodd Bus Station, which has frequent bus departures to the city

Clean and convenient location, near enough to the centre and also the Golden Circle loop. Nicely laid out rooms with shared kitchen and dining space (though we never saw anyone else). Shared bathroom with one toilet. Easy parking.

The location is easily accessible from Reykyavik. They have a supermarket and a bus stop nearby. The size of room is good.

The kitchen was very poorly maintained. It looked like the kitchen cabinets/drawers weren't cleaned since forever. I washed all the dishes and spoons before using it as they were all dusty. The removable stove top was taking too long to heat up and it won't cool down once heated. The microwave was not working (or at least not clear how to operate it). The dining area is small and was very cold to sit and eat. They could add one or two foldable chair in the room. It was difficult to open/close the blinds in the room. Also, the room had very thin curtains and it was very difficult to sleep as it doesn't get dark in summer months. The bathroom was good but the the shower area was not very clean. Again the cabinets/drawers in the bathroom were quite dusty.
