Super kind host, she gave us full freedom about check out hour and tons of nice advices (plus there's a welcome paper with everything you need to know for the stay).Amazingly equipped kitchen and the apartment overall (home appliances, etc..). Amazing lake view. Spacious apartment that can fit easily 4 pp. Very close (by car) to Madonna del Sasso sanctuary. No issues with (free) parking in front of the 🏢. Quiet neighborhood of few blocks and villas. Roads are kinda narrowish if you have a large car and there are no pedestrian or cycling sections, but lot of cyclists around (as well as 🛵) so likely good spot for those, and for hiking as well. Overall it's a good point to drive around, nothing is close but neither far.

Not something necessarily bad, but keep in mind that position is okayish but there's only a steep and rugged path - though fast (10' down) - which cuts a little wood to walk down to Pella (embarcadero, main village place). Otherwise car is mandatory because public transport is absent and walking along the road (no sidewalk) is not much enjoyable. So consider having to move the car for the smallest task or walk around. The town (Alzo and Pella as well), though close to the lake, has few options in terms of 🛒,🛍️ restaurants and activities, compared to "biggest" villages such as nearby Omegna or Orta San Giulio, which are of course cosier but more packed and expensive. Soundproofing is not great and you hear neighbors and their dog (seldom) barking, smth to watch out in case you have a light sleep and you want to sleep in in the morning. But quiet overall. Nitpicks: small elevator if you e.g. have a stroller or wheelchair, some shower soap and shampoo. Pillow softness can be too much but there are 2 more spare pillows of the other 2 beds.

The views from ALL the rooms, across Lake Orta is stunning ! The apartment was clean, spacious and sufficiently equipped. Convenient parking on ‘first come’ basis. It was useful to have an elevator . The hosts are charming, and offered lots of local advice.

I proprietari ospitali, disponibili ed attenti ai dettagli, sono un valore aggiunto. L' appartamento è molto pulito, curato e comodissimo. Ogni stanza si apre sulla meravigliosa isola di San Giulio grazie ad ampie finestre. Il terrazzo sul lago d' Orta ci ha permesso di apprezzare lo spettacolo pirotecnico di capodanno ed il risveglio nel silenzio ci ha dato modo di godere dello splendido paesaggio. Siamo andati via con la voglia di tornare presto.
