The building style/type wasn't what I expected. From the name of the villa, "Kampung Joglo," I expected the villa I booked to be a Joglo, but what we got was a regular house. It was a bit disappointing for my son, as we had previously mentioned that we would be staying in a Joglo building.

The food was good and very cheap. We only had dinner there, as we checked out at 1am to climb Ijen. Location is very good as it's only 30-40min drive to where the Ijen hike starts.
The price for the room we got was very expensive compared to what we were used to pay in Bali for example. The room felt not very clean and very old. The bathroom was very dirty and I didn't even shower because it was not welcoming at all.
