Tilmun, Airconditioned, 5 Bedroomed Farmhouse with Pool

We had a lovely week on Gozo at Tilmun Farmhouse. Aaron was extremely helpful prior to arriving and throughout our stay. He organised transfers to and from the airport as well as a hire car from within Gozo which took away a lot of stress. When we arrived there were provisions in the fridge to keep us going which was very thoughtful as we had arrived late and shops were shut. If we had any queries Aaron was quick to respond so we knew we were in good hands.The village square of L-Gharb is a 5 minute walk up the road and has to be one of the prettiest on the island. There are a couple of bars and restaurants and a well stocked local shop. We were there in mid March & the weather was a little changeable but we still had plenty of sunny days and the pool in the farmhouse was used most days. It isn’t heated so was quite fresh but a similar temperature to the sea in the UK in June so could have been a lot worse! The island of Gozo is so pretty and beautiful-small and very easy to get around by car but still a lot of things to see and do. Spent a relaxing few hours at the Ta’ Cenc spa in Sannat one day where we got a day pass for 30 euros and got to swim in their heated indoor and outdoor pool. Enjoyed some wonderful bacio flavoured ice-cream and got to try a delicious Ftira from Mekren’s bakery. We finished off our stay with a visit to the Teatru Astra in Victoria to see Singing in the Rain.

Lovely villa in a truly beautiful town - great pool, excellent facilities, convenient location with only a short walk to local sights, shop, and restaurants. Parking and road access could sometimes be a bit tricky, but this was largely due to diversions in place during major local festival while we were there.

Wow, what a place this is! The property has been renovated to a very high standard, it is stunning inside and out. The bedrooms are all good size with en-suite's and much needed air conditioning, kitchen and living area have all you need and more. The pièce de résistance has to be the pool and BBQ area outside. We spent most of our time out there either sitting in the shade of the umbrella or cooling off in the pool. Gas BBQ is brilliant, we had lovely meals outside. Washing machine on the top floor and hanging your washing out on the roof is just perfect, there is an iron and ironing board up there too which meant we came home with 4 suitcases of washed, dried and ironed clothes so no faffing about with holiday washing when we got home! Gharb is lovely, shop and 3 bar/restaurants within easy walking distance. The Bolt & Uber taxi services are very efficient and the bus service runs at least every hour. Under 10 minutes you are in Victoria and from there you can go anywhere on the island. Aaron the host is extremely helpful and arranged our transfers to and from the airport as well as a mid-stay change of towels and bed linen and the pool guy came in to check all was good. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here!

My family and I had a wonderful time. The property exceptionally clean, centrally located in town within a family friendly neighborhood. We’re looking forward to our next visit!
