About this villa rental
Our villa, a restored Provencal house, is ideally located in a protected natural area, on the edge of the National Park of the Calanques at the foot of the beak of the eagle. It is 5 minutes walk from the creek of Mugel (300m) and less than 10mn from the creek of Figuerolles (600m). It is also close to the old port of La Ciotat and its animation (1,5 Km) and 10km from Cassis and its creeks

Stunning location a short walk to amazing beaches (pebbly not sand) of Mugel and Figuerolles, brilliant for snorkelling. And a 15 minute walk to the old port with lots of restaurants. Pool is lovely too. Family run traditional home with everything you need. Thank you for our amazing holiday stay!

Marc and Dominique’s home is absolutely wonderful and a true find. This property provides but a few of the following amenities and benefits (would list more but VRBO character limits): it’s spacious and provides enough room for multiple families/friends; it’s outfitted with everything you need, from listening to music or watching something, to cooking an extensive dinner; simple but necessary amenities like doing laundry; the path to the nearby calanques, beaches, and botanical gardens; a shade tree to sit under while you lunch dreamily amid a tranquil breeze and sunshine; an infinity pool; proximity to the charming downtown harbor area, complete with restaurants, shops, and an extensive Sunday market; and last but not least, fantastic and responsive hosts who we loved.

Wir - 5 Erwachsene + 3 Kinder (11-13Jahre) - haben fast 2 Wochen in diesem nicht großen, aber gemütlichen Ferienhaus verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist reichhaltig ausgestattet. Auf der großen, etwas sonnengeschützten Terrasse fanden wir alle Platz und insbesondere die Platane im Garten spendete auch bei großer Hitze Schatten. Das Highlight für uns war sicherlich der moderne Pool, in dem wir wegen der Größe auch gut schwimmen konnten. Bemerkenswert ist aus unserer Sicht, dass es zwar 3 Badezimmer gibt (mit Waschbecken + Dusche oder Badewanne), aber nur 2 separate Toiletten.
Die Lage des Hauses ist recht zentral, so dass man fußläufig den Hafen, diverse kleinere Geschäfte und auch das Naturschutzgebiet "Parc national des Calanques" erreichen kann. Auch ein naher Strand lässt sich in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichen, schade nur, dass dieser ein Kiesstrand und recht klein ist.
Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert.
Insgesamt haben wir einen sehr schönen Urlaub in diesem zentral, aber ruhig gelegenen Ferienhaus verbracht.
