About this apartment rental
This lovely 4th floor apartment is spacious and well furnished, offering a high standard of accommodation for up to 8 people. Located in a small apartment block, the apartment is situated just 5 minutes walk from the centre of the resort and is perfectly positioned for the shops, bars and restaurants of the resort. Skiers can either walk to the centre of town and ski down the bottom part of the Doron piste or walk approximately 9 minutes to the main Chaudanne lift area (alternatively there is a bus stop 2 minutes walk from the apartment with free buses to various points in the resort).
The apartment has 4 bedrooms and a very spacious main room. There is a master bedroom (double bed) with en-suite bathroom (bath & shower attachment; hand basin & WC). This room also has French windows onto a small balcony. There are 2 twin rooms with en-suite shower rooms and a 4th twin bedroom. The 4th bedrooms has slightly restricted head height due to eaves roof. There is also an independent WC with hand basin.
The spacious main room is open plan with kitchen/diner at one end and sitting area with fire at the other. There is a very well equipped kitchen with full oven, hob, microwave & dishwasher, dining area with seating for 8 people and a comfortable living area with 3 sofas, fireplace and access, via French windows, to a lovely balcony with views of the Meribel Valley & the beautiful Chapel of Notre Dame des Neiges. The apartment has wifi and flat screen TV with UK channels.
In addition there is a small laundry room with washing machine & dryer. There is a private ski locker on the 1st floor of the building.
The apartment also has private parking so if you chose to drive parking is not a problem (although this is on first-come basis and cannot be reserved)
Please note that there is no lift in the building

We had a lovely stay in this apartment over the UK February half term. It was clean, well set up and stocked with some food basics toilet paper linen. A huge bonus especially on day one!Plenty of room for two families, including 4 teenage children.Location is literally on top of the Spar, so very handy for getting self catering supplies.The walk to the slopes is fine, just head to the escalator in the centre (by the Doron), and the reverse on the way home. However if you don't enjoy carrying your skies/board perhaps consider a ski locker in a shop or at the Chaudanne. We hired from Precision next to The Taveren.Danny, who takes care of the property, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. A really nice guy who lives locally.The only minor downsides are that parking is not reserved and many of the spaces looked like they had been taken for a long long time. Be prepared to park at the Dou du Pont car park. It's not a long walk. Also the WiFi in the apartment is provided by a MiFi Mobile Hotspot, and we had regular trouble with that over the week. Poor Danny had to reset it many times for us. As per the description, the apartment is on the top floor with no lift, so it can be an energetic start and end to the day. But there is a ski / boot locker on the first floor to help ease the carry.Meribel and the 3 valleys delivered as normal and we had a fabulous week. Thanks Danny!

This is a lovely property with loads of space and very clean. An easy walk from the centre of town and short bus ride when in ski boots! The property had everythinf you could need and a nice view. Danny was very helpful before we even arrived and he made check in very smooth. We would love to come back again. Thanks

A beautiful well kept chalet, a short walk to either the bus stop or up the hill to the slopes, easily achieved daily by our 6 year old. Great communication from the property management and very friendly and helpful. A wonderful quiet stay for our family, highly recommend.
