Quinta Vale de Carvalho

An exceptional villa—very clean, spacious, and pleasant, with a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The kitchen is fully and conveniently equipped, allowing for the preparation of meals. The host is delightful, highly responsive, and very helpful. An excellent, delicious, homemade breakfast was served each morning, featuring a variety of different local pastries. Spices were provided, and we were even given a bottle of high-quality, locally produced olive oil. The villa boasts two large private outdoor seating areas/terraces: one with a dining table, and another with comfortable sofas nestled beneath a charming grapevine. There is a wonderful, large swimming pool equipped with sun loungers, offering a stunning view of the Douro Valley. Private covered parking is available, and there is a grill in the courtyard. The kitchen features a high-quality coffee machine that grinds fresh beans—with a supply of beans provided for daily use. The bathroom is large and comfortable. The house is equipped with air conditioning and a fireplace for climate control. The setting is very quiet and peaceful—highly recommended for those seeking a high-quality, tranquil retreat. Restaurants are just a short drive away.

Magical views from a beautiful location with a wonderful appointed house and attentive hosts.

Rustic and Rural, if you’re happy with that then you will absolutely love this place.

A quinta é bastante pitoresca (convida a passeios) e as villas têm ótimas condições.

Nada a apontar.
