Loco's Lodge 'Where Time Stands Still'

An excellent well equipped home with stunning views. We spent some evenings sitting in the sun lounge watching the wildlife on the land. The pool was fantastic and very welcome especially in our first week when the temperature hit over 40c. Mitch cleaned the pool daily and topped up when necessary. Mitch was a great host but was very discreet.

Second visit to this beautiful gite hosted by the lovely Mitch & Charlie her gorgeous dog. Fabulous pool and beautiful scenery makes for a super relaxing holiday . Very comfortable gite with lots of space both inside & out . A fabulous conservatory overlooking fields for days when weather is not so good. We will definitely be coming back ! Mitch is so helpful replaced a microwave that died on us , so we could do our dogs vegetables , within a day .. thank you Mitch So many things to see around here and well within reach of some beautiful towns & villages . A perfect holiday and we’re sad to be leaving ! See you next year Mitch & Charlie

A little piece of heaven! Friendly, helpful but not intrusive host, excellent communications, well equipped property in peaceful surroundings with beautiful views and all sorts of wildlife - the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine. Excellent base to explore the local area (Eymet/Monflanquinr/Chateau de Bridoire etc) or just to enjoy the pool and completely unwind.

After a long drive it was a real tonic to arrive at Loco's Lodge. We were warmely welcomed by the owner, who continued to be extremely hospitable and approachable to us throughout our stay (thank you for the welcome goodies!). Loco's lodge is a tasteful barn conversion set in open, rolling countryside. It is in a secluded, peaceful spot and yet is ideally placed to explore the fascinating local towns and attractions. Towns such as Eymet, Lauzun, Castilliones, Bergerac etc are all musts to explore and are all easily accessible from the lodge by car. They have all amenities - (supermarkets, cash points, petrol, bars, restaurants, markets) It is also ideal for local wine sampling! The lodge itself is extremely comfortable, well-equipped and has the luxury of two bathrooms and English tv! Unfortunately, as our visit was a short one in February, we were unable to make use of the lovely swimming pool and outside terrace - inviting as they were! A return visit is a must! I'd highly recommend this property.
