Dinner was good, both breakfasts were very good. The room was quite small but adequate. The hot water went off a few times in the sink and in the shower but it was no biggie as it came back on shortly after. There was a notice that saif as the building was historically old, please make allowances for the plumbing.

The beer was good although I'm fairly sure the first pint I had that was called "Something IPA" was really an IPA at all but was still good. The shower tray filled up with water before the waste started emptying but it didn't overflow so again, no biggie.

Great location for an overnight stay during a tour of north of Scotland. Nice & friendly staff and nice cosy bar which was dog friendly.

This was the most expensive hotel out of 4 we stayed in and not including breakfast. The room was ok but clearly needing some work done especially to the ceiling.
