Staff was very helpful and attentive. Very nice views from our top floor room. Was able to book bus to ninh binh through the staff and also rent a moped. Short ride to town and beach.
Moped headlight was not working.

Mountain View is an oasis from the hustle and bustle of Cat Ba town, and Ha Noi. It is a peaceful retreat with stunning views of the bay, perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset. I spent a lot of time sitting by the pool in the sun, admiring the views. The staff are kind, helpful and communicative. Quinn was great throughout my stay. Delicious breakfast.
It's a bit outside of Cat Ba town and the main beaches, not within walking distance, but this is already clearly outlined on the booking. There are bikes and mopeds to rent and taxis that the staff can help you with, so long as you don't mind being a bit further out.

Great view, could be amazing when it will be well maintained.
I had no more water at night in my shower and the staff fix it climbing up the water tank! Thanks for all help.
Bed sheets and mattress are no clean. Weird spot on the mattress.
Wall and door need some cleaning specially bathroom.
The property is located up the hill which gives an amazing view but the pool was green, I swim only once.
Need to get some more maintenance and cleaning , maybe I wasn’t lucky because there was some renovations on the road maybe that why it was dirty and stuff were everywhere.
