Beach House

Really like the location and the host and admin. They were super helpful and so courteous.

Cleanliness and condition of the refrigerator and sink area. Not sure if normally given but would have liked a bath mat or extra towel as the water leaked from the shower into the hallway and all we had was one towel each.

We loved the excellent location right behind Cafe Daya, the great value, and the very friendly and welcoming staff. It was also easy to find once you go to the restaurant, and parking was simple during the spring season. Overall, it worked well for a short stay and felt convenient and well-located for exploring Asilah.

The sleeping setup was not ideal for a group, as the traditional Moroccan couches were not very comfortable for everyone and the linens provided were quite minimal. The bathroom is very small, partly under the stairs, and the shower water leaks slightly under the bathroom door onto the floor. The refrigerator was also not switched on upon arrival. The photos online were a bit unclear regarding the terrace space — we were not sure if the terrace shown belonged to this specific ground-floor unit (it did not) or to another upper-floor accommodation or the restaurant. As we arrived late at night, we did not request extra help, but staff at Daya would likely have assisted if asked as they were very kind. For future guests, it may be helpful to contact the property in advance if you need the fridge on or extra bedding prepared. Im sorry that I didn’t take any photos inside the space to share here.

Location is excellent right on the beach.

The shower arrangement kinda feels like a prison cell with no separation between the bedroom and the toilet area except for a curtain. Not sure why they would cheap out on fixing a sliding door or something similar. Felt gross to be sleeping right next to pooping area. But they’re still new so hopefully they’ll fix it. Also, no soap provision or any other extras other than a towel and a one legged fan. Need to put more love and attention into the amenities as well. Kinda expensive for the value provided. I suppose you’re paying to be close to the ocean.
