Casale La Macina - Hotel, Scopello

Casale La Macina is a charming hotel located in an olive grove, between Scopello and Castellammane del Golfo on the NW coast of Sicily. It was beautifully renovated from an historic farmhouse and oil mill 12 years ago. It is a short drive to some lovely beaches, but also has a lovely swimming pool. The staff were charming and helpful and the restaurant was excellent, serving many pasta and fish dishes, and excellent wines. The room was large and clean. The wifi was good. We strongly recommend it.

We had an exceptional stay and honestly couldn’t fault it. From the moment we arrived, everything was literally perfect. Our room was wonderful, the whole place had such a chilled and relaxing atmosphere, and the pool was incredibly clean. The cocktails and food were absolutely divine too - everything felt really well thought out. We are going to miss the breakfast! The hotel staff were amazing throughout our stay - so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We also loved how easy it was to park our hire car, which made exploring the area so convenient. One thing that really stood out was just how exceptionally clean everything was, which made the whole experience even better. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely stay here again. A beautiful, relaxing place in a gorgeous part of Sicily.

If we were being completely picky - I would say the paper cups in the room were not ideal.

Beautiful place with a great swimming pool, close to the beach. Very comfortable, friendly staff, and a great breakfast. Very recommended, we will come again.

Hard to find and one staff was rude to us when we had difficulty finding the location.
