Casa Palmera is very special indeed.
It is a period house in a quiet and secluded location in the most beautiful part of the island. Within walking distance of the shops and restaurants in Puntagorda.
The house has an excellent bathroom, with walk in shower, plus an additional separate toilet and shower. Guests can have meals in the very good and well equipped kitchen and there is also a large dining table in the pleasant sitting room. For winter nights there is a wood burning stove. In addition, there is a separate pantry with washing machine, fridge freezer and other useful items. It is obvious that a great deal of thought has gone into the requirements and comfort of guests.
The jewel in the crown, however, is the stunning, large garden with views down the valley to the sea in the distance. There are several places in the garden to sit, relax and enjoy the environment. During the day the garden is full of bird song and at night thousands of stars appear.
The owner Elizabeth, is the perfect host for self catering. Guests are left alone to enjoy the house and garden but she is instantly there to help if required.
We spent three glorious weeks in Casa Palmera.
Absolutely nothing. Everything was beyond perfect.
