Wir verbrachten in dem hübschen kleinen Appartement 2 wunderbare Wochen. Die Lage war perfekt direkt im Zentrum von Chioggia, mitten im italienischen Leben. Wir hatten das Appartement "Erica" im 2. Stock. Das Haus, in dem sich insgesamt 3 Appartements des Vermieters befinden, liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Seitenstraße, die nächsten Restaurants und Bars waren in 2 - 3 Min. zu Fuß erreichbar. Auch einer der schönsten Kanäle von Chioggia, an dem sich viele Restaurants befanden, war nur 2 Min. entfernt. Im Appartement war alles vorhanden, was einen Urlaub perfekt macht. Sogar Kaffee war vorhanden. Unsere Strandsachen konnten wir nach italienischer Art vor dem Fenster auf Wäscheleinen aufhängen. Sehr praktisch war auch, dass sich die Haustür mit einem Türcode öffnen ließ, für den Wohnungsschlüssel gab es im Hausflur für jedes Appartement einen Schlüsselsafe, so dass man den Schlüssel nicht immer mitnehmen musst. Auch der Safe im Zimmer war sehr praktisch und gut versteckt. Wir verbrachten unseren Urlaub teilweise am Strand von Sottomarina (ca. 25 Min. zu Fuß erreichbar oder mit dem Fahrrad des Vermieters in ca. 10 Min.), machten Ausflüge in die Po-Ebene, auf die Isola Verde, auf der es auch schöne kleine Strandbäder gab oder wir bummelten durch das wunderschöne Chioggia und erkundeten die vielen kleinen Gässchen, machten eine Bootsrundfahrt in der Lagune vor Chioggia (ca. 50 Min. für 10 €, die kleinen roten Bote am Hafen sind sehr zu empfehlen) dabei haben wir einiges über die Geschichte von Chioggia und die Lagune in Deutsch erfahren. Einen Tag sind wir mit dem Schiff nach Venedig gefahren, jeweils 1 1/2 Stunden durch die Lagune bis zum Markusplatz, in Venedig hatte man von 11:00 bis 17:00 Uhr Zeit für einen Stadtbummel. Alleine die Schiffsfahrt war die Reise wert (22,- / p. Person). Der Veranstalter war eine Empfehlung des Vermieters. Er hat uns auch viele Restaurant-Tipps gegeben und war sehr hilfsbereit und bei Fragen immer über WhatApp erreichbar.

The location is in the very center of Chioggia. Furnishing is basic, but all the necessary things are in place. The host was helpful about activities and restaurants in the neighborhood.
There is no reserved parking place and you are not allowed to park a car on the streets nearby. The nearest parking lots are for pay and some are quite expensive. We were lucky to catch a place at the free parking lot in the center of Sottomarina, which is 20-25 min by walk from the apartment.
