Maison face au soleil is one of the most charming places we have ever stayed. Yes, the house (and rooms) is stunningly decorated, comfortable and inviting but that would be nothing without its host and owner Chrystel. She is so welcoming, helpful and goes beyond making guests feel at home. She even makes the delicious fresh yoghurt for the generous breakfast. We had a blast in Ile de Re, with Chrystel providing top tips for eating, activities and a 10% discount on bikes thrown in. Our few days there were very special and we will be back.
