It's like the motel room from old Hollywood movies where everything makes a sound when touched. However, there's a smart TV and a working Wifi. Bathroom was clean, bed linen and toiletries were provided. Owner was quite helpful though didn't actually see anyone there.

The place is only about 10 minutes walk from the station but it's all uphill. I reached after the check in hours, so it was completely deserted, didn't see anyone throughout the stay and communicate with the owner via text. Also, as it's a bit remote, once you're inside there's no cell reception.

Quiet, comfortable; plenty of space.. Excellent shower. Communication was excellent - I felt welcome and would be happy to return sometime in the future.

Great location, easy check in, good facilities overall especially the access to the kitchen to make a proper breakfast in the morning. Smart TV with connection to Netflix. Hearing unit in the room and also in the bathroom which was essential as it was very cold during our stay.

Cleanliness was not up to our standards: lots of dust everywhere and some hair on the floor. The mattress was very comfortable but the pillows are terrible and need replacing. While there was plenty of hot water in the sink and the shower, it wasn't the case for the bathtub so neither my son nor I could take a bath as planned (also no stopper for the tub). Many broken things in the room, like the bathtub showerhead, random pieces of decor falling off. As others have said, tired and needs a refresh. The wall lighting has no bulbs and there were no reading lamps, so once our son went to sleep we had to sit in total darkness. The 'breakfast' included was very cheap, unhealthy, and sugary (madeleines, fake orange juice, processed cheese, etc).
