Im April buchte ich eine Übernachtung im The Beach Cabanas Retreat & Spa. Mein Hotelzimmer mit 48qm, hat eine großzügige Raumaufteilung über zwei Ebenen in warmen Holztönen. Jedes der Zimmer in dieser Hotelanlage hat eine Terrasse mit direktem Meerblick, an einem der schönsten Strände von Sri Lanka. Das Personal des Restaurants nimmt gerne Sonderwünsche entgegen. Ich bedanke mich an dieser Stelle für das sehr gute und frische Obst. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Beim Frühstück wurde ich mit einem sehr reichhaltigen Frühstück mit kontinentalen und einheimischen Gerichten überrascht. Alles war auf der schönen Terrasse des Restaurants, welche einen direkten Meerblick hat, in Buffet-Form für die Hotelgäste aufgebaut. Die Hotelanlage hat einen Pool und ein Spa- Bereich. Jedes der Zimmer in dieser Hotelanlage hat eine Terrasse mit direktem Blick auf den indischen Ozean. Das Hotel ist geeignet und empfehlenswert für Familien mit Kindern, Paaren und Alleinreisenden, welche eine ruhige Hotelanlage direkt am Meer suchen. Ein schöner Standort für Ausflüge nach Mirissa, Galle, Dickwella und den Udawalawe- und Yala Nationalpark.

Secluded romantic getaway, beautiful views, almost no people on the beach
Poorly maintained facilities, common in Sri Lanka. It was a quiet period and the staff were not attentive to the few guests that where staying in the property, very slow service.
