Cobblers Cottage Creggan

We loved the cottage, it was so cosy! Very comfortable as well and everything that you could possibly need was there. Great view, and good distance to Cookstown and to the Ulster America Folk Park. It was very clean and the fireplace was lovely. Margaret's, the owner, was very kind and welcoming.

I couldn't think of anything that we didn't like.

The warmth and charm of this cottage are second to none — from the moment you step inside, you feel transported to another time. I honestly didn’t want to leave. The traditional décor, the old Irish atmosphere, and the freshly baked homemade bread and jam made it an unforgettable stay. I’d highly recommend it to everyone, especially visitors from abroad looking for an authentic Irish cottage experience.

A welcome box was on the table when we arrived, with brown bread, treats, and drinks. Lovely old-style cottage with but it was very easy to heat and the beds were very comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming too.

This was our second time staying at Cobblers Cottage, and we were so sad to leave the peaceful countryside behind. We enjoyed a cosy, relaxing few days with my family, and once again, nothing compares to their thoughtful little welcome basket—it’s such a special touch. I’ve stayed in many places, but Cobblers Cottage truly stands out. I felt so calm and recharged that I didn’t want to return to the city and all its busyness. A perfect little cottage of peace. “Margate goes above and beyond—she even brought my mum a little gift for her birthday, making us feel truly at home.”
