Everything, the hosts went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable, had a good breakfast every morning and guaranteed a few good coffees before I left. It was truly a pleasure and will definitely be back!

Attractive garden. Birdlife. Secure. Good-sized rooms. Air-conditioning. Option of vegan breakfast (bring own alternative milk).
1.Room allocated was different from that on the B.com page. Owner said B.com listed 'types' rather than exact room. After querying this, the photos were immediately updated on B.com which felt a bit deceptive.
2. Two improvement suggestions:
a) an extractor fan in the bathroom. The window in the bathroom unfortunately doesn't draw out the moisture and odours. Leaving the window open overnight means neighbouring dogs can be heard barking.
b) outside furniture to be prepped for guests to use. Good quality, attractive cast iron furniture but not ready to use: no cushions on loungers and seats.

Hayley and Hennie are wonderful hosts. We were in Port Elizabeth for one night after a safari and before driving the garden route. Millbury Guest House was the perfect place to stop over, we cannot recommend it enough.. We loved the location, the fantastic breakfast, Hayley's hospitality and all of Hennie's brilliant advice on what we should do and see on our trip. Thank you both for a great stay!
