Location, and reasonable price
Switch-board was buzzing, I had to switch of electricity in order to have quiet during the night.

Our room was nice, big and clean. It had everything needed in the kitchen. It is a place a family can easily stay longer. The beach is amazing, very nice for jumping, swimming and SUP.
The food was not the best, but this is always the case when it is a big hotel. We had breakfast and dinner included. However, if you decide to cook, there are 2 supermarkets close to the resort.

The location of Fontana is the best. Also the size of the bigger appartments
This was our 5. time at Fontana since 2010. The entire resort is on overtime when it comes to maintenance. Everything from the apartment to the pool area.. In fact I do not think there has been any major maintenance since the first time we stayed there. So if we are going back to Jelsa in the future, we will not stay at Fontana.
Based upon earlier experiences, we had not booked with brekfast or dinner. We tried the dinner buffét one evening. EUR 20 for one person is a scam, compared to what they did serve. Although there were several dishes to choose from, the kitchen had managed to overcook everything. It didn't look appetizing and didn't taste anything. You wil get much better food in Jelsa for a more reasonable price.
