Beauty Hotels Taipei- Hotel Bchic

the hotel is near to some tourist and trendy spots as well as mrt stations. the staff are polite and nice. the room service is superb.

The location of the hotel is great, just few minutes walk going to the famous 307 bus line which I loved about the location. There's a nearby park, family mart, and restaurants for about 10 mins walk. The lighting of the room is great,we asked for extra pillow and room service everyday which is very kind of them. I also liked how accommodating the staffs are when I ask for something they bring it quickly. The downside of our stay would be our internet connection, my boyfriend and I are both virtual workers, and the connection's really important to us. Their download speed is at 3.2 mbps while their upload speed is at 1.4 mbps which is quite slow especially if you are using VPN. Each floor has it's own wifi, but not extended in the room,no internet mesh. I asked the staff about it they said probably because we are at our room that's why it's slow and the walls are blocking the wifi. So they suggested we stay at the lounge while working. Their lounge is great it has flat screen TV, coffee machine and a couch and center table the air-conditioning is also good. Elevator works fine for us, really helpful since we have a lot of baggage. The room's clean, but you can definitely smell cigarettes from their curtain. Bathroom's also trat they'd often refill our bathroom essentials like shampoo and body wash. We always ask for a change of towel and bathroom mat which is great for us since our towels don't easily dry down. Our bottled water always gets refilled. Overall,it was a pleasant stay with just few things to improve.

Great place to stay, close to the train and bus stations. The staff are also very kind and very accomodating with all of our requests.

It was a good value but I wouldn't stay here again...not really anything special for this place just Beauty Hotels was recommended by a friend. Check-in was simple.... Room is okay but not perfect...they only give 2 pillows on a big bed which is kind of weird they sit in the middle...they only gave 2 bath towels, no hand or washcloth...I had to ask and they gave me to wash cloths, but said they didn't have hand towels...There was long hair still stuck in the drain of the shower as well...I told the guy in the morning and they removed it...They would replace the 2 bottles of water if you used them and 2 cookies if you ate them in the little cabinet above the fridge....I went to the front to ask if they knew of any places to eat around but she said I should go to the Zhongshan MTR station area for food....Honest opinion I wouldn't come back to this spot again.
