Das Meer war nah, Bushaltestellen quasi direkt vor der Haustür. Die Wohnung war für uns ausreichend groß, die Ausstattung stimmte. Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern könnte die Lage des zweiten Schlafzimmers außerhalb des Hauses problematisch sein.

Very friendly welcoming with small presents and explainings of the house. The housr is great and has even a dishwasher. Beds were fine and everything was clean and comfy :) The location is wonderful - so close to the beach and with a private parking space (parking space is not so easy to find in azenhos...). You can take your breakfast at the nice terrace. This stay is totally recommended!
I visited in the beginning of may after a long and cold winter. Because the house has no heating it was not soo warm at night (but there was a warm blanket!) and there was a bit of "mouldy smell". But you can say that about many houses rented out in Portugal.

Location and they did leave a welcome basket.
Way too small for 4 people. Only 2 coffee cups. The second bedroom is entirely outside of the apt, twin beds angled awkwardly to fit in one room, no place to even open my suitcase, not suitable for children or old people who need a bathroom in the night. There was no mention that the restaurant shown in the pictures closes at 4pm everyday. The fabric shower curtain was extremely moldy. They expect payment for your stay as soon as you arrive instead of charging my CC on file.
