    I booked this hotel after watching a vlog that featured this hotel, not impeccably but decently. I was skeptical at first until we arrived and boy was I floored. The reception was beautiful, clean and smelled so pleasant! We were greeted warmly by staff, given instructions about the hotel's amenities including the buffet breakfast and then the keys were handed to us. When we went up, we were ushered by yet again a very clean and beautiful smelling hallway, into our room. As we opened the door, we stumbled upon a very clean and polished room. I was hit by pleasantness one after another. I know it sounds rather corny but if you've been to horror hotels that looked beautiful on the photos and featured great reviews but stunk and sucked, you'd understand why I was so positively shocked and happy. I thought my high would end there BUT NO. After unloading our luggage, we went to the 24/7 snack bar were you could get free drinks, both cold and hot, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. There is a limit to bar drinks: only one free per voucher and only one voucher per room. If you want more bar drinks you'll have to pay but everything else in the snack bar was UNLIMITED. Now I'm starting to sound like a kid too happy after being given too much candy but the offerings on the snack bar were ALL VERY GOOD. From ice cream to snacks to cold and hot drinks, none were bad, as in zero. At first I had no idea the laundry area was at the very end of the snack bar, I thought it was somewhere else until I had to do laundry myself and I have to tell you, this again was incredible. The way this hotel planned and positioned its facilities is so smart. In the spacious 24/7 snack bat there are so many tables with their own charging ports so you can lounge there, eat, watch or simply relax as you wait for your laundry to finish. In the laundry room, there are driers, free detergent, clean plastic bags free for the taking to put your fresh laundry in and there's even a steam iron. If you're ever short of clean clothes or simply want to always wash your clothes you simply go here and wash away. All these ameneties are great value for money but hey, this hotel also offers BUFFET BREAKFAST from 7AM to 10AM EVERYDAY. Hear that? EVERYDAY. And you may think they serve bland, stale food but NO, everything is freshly cooked and taste delicious. In all aspects this hotel doesn't disappoint. They are classified a 3-star hotel but honestly they deserve a higher rating. My very first visit to Kaohsiung was made memorable by Kindness Hotel -Kaohsiung Main Station. I can tell you sincerely, I want to go back to Kaohsiung just so I can stay in this hotel again.

    Hotel is near to Kaohsiung train station which make it easy to access to many places. Hotel provide nice breakfast and whole day free ice cream and cookie and free laundry service.

    Location is superb, right opposite Kaohsiung Main station, liouhe night market just short walk away. Rooms are a little old and musty, but we have all we need. Beds are comfy - we had our best night’s sleep here after 1 week of travelling across city. The breakfast spread is amazing!
