We booked this large house for our group of cyclists.

Nice big house with lovely peaceful garden. The dining room and lounge are very comfortable.

The attic room was more like a hostel with nowhere to store clothes. The beds were very basic. There are inadequate showers in the property for the advertised 32 people. The swimming pool was full of green algae and we could not use it.

Koffiemachines werkten niet naar behoren 1 vd ovens werkte ook niet Instructieboekje zou handig zijn Wat muffe geur in salon Deur vh toilet op 1ste verdieping kon niet op slot. Duidelijker vermelden dat het om de Brusselsesteenweg in Melle gaat, want anders kom je in Gent uit

Vergane glorie en high maintenance host

We konden hier goed met 14 man slapen. Mooi ruim huis en grote tuin. Centrum Gent is goed met OV te bereiken (met overstap). Sauna en zwemvijver zijn fantastisch

- Het was niet boeken en daarna zorgeloos op vakantie. De communicatie met de gastheer was behoorlijk intensief (vanuit de host). Van tevoren ben ik bestookt met een lawine aan mails (minstens 15) met huisregels, verzoeken en extra betalingen (toeristenbelasting en borg) die buiten Booking om moesten. (Toeristenbelasting kon niet ter plekke, maar moest al weken van tevoren worden overgemaakt.) - Host lijkt er vooral op gericht om elke cent eruit te knijpen -> op de minuut af scherp of we niet te vroeg aankwamen, of te laat vertrokken (waarvoor 300EUR zou worden gerekend); -> Borg zou binnen een week na vertrek terug worden gestort, maar daar moest ik zelf achteraan en toen duurde het nog een paar dagen. Bovendien werd een deel ingehouden bij creditcard betaling. - Het hele huis was duidelijk aan een opknapbeurt toe, afgebladderde verf, (een aantal) doorgezakte bedden. - Het sanitair was niet erg schoon en van de toiletten kon slechts de helft op slot (waarvan 2 buiten). Niet echt heel fijn. - De keuken was erg vies, koffie apparaat liep niet goed door, buiten stond nog ergens een beschimmeld exemplaar.
