Emporium Lisbon Suites

This is a comfortable apartment in a lovely part of Lisbon. Surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops with responsive hosts, a nice layout with comfortable beds, a kitchenette and no street noise.

Excellent location in the old part of Lisbon, Alfama, near many restaurants. Wonderful view of the water from our 4th floor room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice spacious bathroom.

The bed was rather hard and uncomfortable, with a plastic/rubber under sheet, which made it very hot, and the pillows, although many, were rather flat and did not offer good support.

Super location, very large spacious apartment with a lift and electronic coded door access. Right next to numerous coffee shops, restaurants and a mini supermarket open early until late. Communication via the message service with the hosts was very good.

The bed had an mattress topper that was larger than the mattress so the bottom sheet did not fit the bed causing an uncomfortable night sleep as the bottom sheet moved around. The topper was then fitted with a waterproof cover that was awful and sweaty to sleep on. The bedding and duvet need upgrading as they let the apartment down which is a shame, I would not go back or recommend as a good nights sleep is important to me. I did raise this but was told that it was ok and that it just needed tucking in but I cant sleep with an over sized duvet tucked in to hold the bottom sheet in place.
