En general el sitio en el que estábamos CALDELAS, es un pueblo con encanto y tranquila la casa era grande y muy cómoda con todas las necesidades que puedes tener

O espaço é lindo, um autêntico refúgio mesmo no centro da freguesia de Caldelas. Tudo extremamente limpo e cuidado. Muito bom gosto na decoração e nos espaços. Os quartos e camas e muito confortáveis. Grande disponibilidade de utensílios de cozinha e churrasco. Os jardins e a piscina muito cuidados. Diversas alternativas de locais para fazer refeições no empreendimento. Serviços muito próximos como supermercado, talho, restaurantes, cafés, banco, farmácia e das termas. O proprietário é de uma simpática incrível e extremamente prestável. Está de parabéns pela criação deste lindo refúgio.
Pena não termos reservado mais dias. Mas com certeza queremos voltar.

This property is beautiful, steeped in history and all of the natural buildings. The owner has kept many of the original features of the house and outbuildings. The owner came every morning to clean the pool and tend the garden before we woke. The gardens are kept beautiful. The hosts met us upon arrival and showed us around giving us a quick overview of the history of the building which we really enjoyed. We booked for a week but had alternative accommodation for 3 of the nights to attend a family wedding. The location is in a quiet village which we liked, a taxi to Braga cost about €20 and our airport taxi was €48 to the property and €88 back (this is normal). The property had all the facilities needed to cook a meal. The beds were sturdy and comfortable. The upper rooms got quite warm during the night whilst the lower room and outside annex room were quite cool and had some condensation.
The village clock rings from 7am until 10pm. We really liked that and after a while you don't really notice it.
There are a few cafes and restaurants nearby and we ate as Lua de Caldelas which is a beautiful bistro almost directly opposite the accommodation. There are a.couple.os supermarkets which close between 1 and 3pm daily.
The national park is approx 30.minutes away by car and I would recommend care hire as taxis become quite costly as you are in a little village.
There is an indoor thermal.spa within walking distance but due to the weather hitting 36° we opted to stay near our own pool to stay cool.
Overall the property is lovely, spacious and well kept.
