Beautiful place with hot tub after long days on Camino. Hosts were great & family style meal was wonderful experience!

Needed drying rack to dry clothes

I was walking the Camino and looking for somewhere to stay halfway through the stage, as the distance to the next stop was a bit too far for me. I found Los Padel and I’m so glad I did! I walked faster than expected and arrived about two hours before check-in, but Nuno was incredibly accommodating. He already had a room ready and kindly let me check in early, which meant I could have a shower and freshen up after a very hot day’s walking. There were other Camino walkers staying too, and we all got together in the evening. Nuno provided food and drinks, and it turned into a really lovely, sociable evening. It was exactly the sort of atmosphere you hope to find on the Camino. The room was very comfortable, with a lovely balcony and an amazing view over the valley. After staying in albergues, it felt like pure luxury! I had a shared bathroom, but I hardly saw anyone else, and the bathroom itself was excellent. I’d definitely recommend Los Padel, particularly to anyone walking the Camino who wants a comfortable and welcoming place to stop at this popular halfway point. Nuno really made me feel welcome, and I’d happily stay here again.

The village is beautiful. The house quite nice - large, modern. The house is a bit off the Camino, and uphill - this is obvious from the pictures, so one needs to plan if walking all day. Nice view.

The bedroom and bath were clean. The kitchen not so. Old food and fruit left about. No coffee or anything to eat (this is important to know as no cafe or restaurant near). This might be due to season, but it would have been nice to know in advance. The host was basically unavailable. No info sent about getting into property. Answered first message abruptly saying “use google” (not at all after that). House hard to find; I had to ask maintenance person to assist (construction all around). Host showed up later at night, asking about food, but too late at that point. No directions in house about using TV, or adjusting heat.
