Mäe Farm

We stayed just one night at this beautiful farm, and it was a truly peaceful and pleasant experience. The location is stunning — green rolling hills, a river nearby, and sheep and a pony grazing near the gate. A perfect countryside escape. Even though we arrived later than expected, check-in was smooth and welcoming. The host lives next door and greeted us warmly, answered all our questions, and made us feel at home right away. The farm area is spacious and well-maintained, with a lovely lawn, old apple trees, an outdoor table, benches, and a firepit — perfect for relaxing outdoors. Our attic accommodation was clean, cozy, and well-equipped: plenty of space, a kitchen area, a proper bathroom with hot water and a spacious shower (a nice bonus compared to some more rustic places), soap, shower gel, and two fresh towels each. A washing machine was available as well. There are walking trails nearby, including one that leads to a scenic river spot. Sadly, we had to leave early for a local festival, but we would love to come back and explore more!

Очень доброжелательные хозяева. Встретели, всё показали и рассказали, где и чем можно заняться. Хорошо принимают постояльцев с питомцами. Если любите животных, то вам стоит остановиться здесь. Нам была выделена комната на втором этаже, на первом живут сами хозяева. В комнате было всё необходимое. Всё чисто и уютно. На улице есть место, где можно пожарить шашлыки. Есть балкон, для маленьких детей предусмотрен стульчик для кормления и уголок с игрушками.

Не привычный для нас запах воды, но это некритично.

It would be nice to have a place indoors where the washed clothes could be dried.

Everything! Wonderful and kindhearted host, we stayed in the studio upstairs, everything was available for a convenient stay. Room was equipped with air conditioning, beds were really comfortable and small kitchen had all necessary utensils. Highly recommended! Best place in Rõuge to stay for sure.
