Gites Chateau Comblanchien

Comblanchien is a beautiful Chateau in a quiet location between Nuits St Georges and Beaune. Lovely gite, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The host was charming and friendly and kept in contact regularly. Lovely garden, shared with the other gites, where you can sit out in the evening with far reaching views of the burgundy countryside. A short drive into Beaune. There is a bakery within walking distance of the accommodation and a restaurant. We didn’t try the restaurant as we had other plans. I slept so well there probably due to the comfortable bed and peace and quiet. Highly recommended.

C’est un vrai petit appartement, avec une cuisine bien équipée, une chambre romantique et une petite salle d’eau, tout ce qu’il faut pour bien profiter du séjour, surtout si l’on préfère organiser son dîner en autonomie, dans l’appartement ou en terrasse, plutôt que de chercher un restaurant dans les villages voisins.

Il faut savoir que le logement n’est pas accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite (cela n’a pas été un problème pour nous) et que les repas sont à organiser par soi-même (c’est un gîte, pas un b&b).

Séjour exceptionnel, le logement est magnifique, décoré avec goût, propre, fonctionnel, on s'y sent bien. Le lieu est incroyable, au milieu des vignes, le calme. Nous avons pris nos repas dans l espace aménagé à l extérieur avec une vue magnifique sur les vignes. A notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueilli par Nadine, elle connaît parfaitement la région, n hesitez pas à lui demander conseil une très belle rencontre !

La posizione e la vista sul paesaggio e sui vigneti circostanti. La vicinanza a Beaune e agli altri paesini della Borgogna.

Questo chateau sarebbe molto bello se fosse completamente ristrutturato, ma con un investimento notevole. Per come l'abbiamo visto è stato sistemato alla meglio, ma non certo ad un livello elevato. Si salva solo per la vista, che è spettacolare sui vigneti, ma per il resto è tutto piuttosto scadente. Stanze strane, servizi che fanno acqua da tutte le parti, prese elettriche quasi inesistenti, colori pesanti e arredi da rigattiere. A prima vista sembrava di aver trovato il posto perfetto, a metà tra lo storico e il moderno, ma poi appena entrati ci si accorge subito della fatiscenza dello stabile. Sporco, giardino come abbandonato, secondo piano soffocante (anche perché sprovvisto di climatizzazione). Insomma un vero peccato, potrebbe essere una gemma nella zona e invece così è valido solo per la posizione.
