Excellent freshly cooked food at reasonable prices. 'Friendly, helpful staff who made us very welcome and the hotel had a comforting, homely feel. Stunning location with a great garden and a scrupulously clean house full of local interest.
We are not fans of televisions in bars.

Clennell is quirky and individual - like nowhere else we have stayed. It was our 3rd stay.
The cobwebs everywhere especially in the bathroom.

Beautiful setting, middle of fields and next to a stream. Old building with lots of character. The owners and staff were so friendly and accommodating.
It was comfortable although felt a little in need of redecorating and a little worn in parts.
