Villa Loppe - Chamonix Mountain Four-Bedroom Hidden Gem

Nice living space and well equipped kitchen. Nice little (shared) garden.

Showers are dated. No body / shower soap provided. Some lamps are very uncomfortable: the master bedroom has one very harsh bluelight instead of warm white. Several other lamps such ad the one above the staircase is also not nice / not matching the vibe.

The location was great. We were mostly doing climbing and mountaineering and could walk to most places. All appliances worked and we liked all the board games. The garden was a great place to sit in the evenenings and the garden chairs were nice.

The water pressure in the showers was low. This is understandable for an old house. If I had been traveling with my family the loud music from the park and the rooftop restaurand next door might have been a challenge. But as we were a group of friends it did not bother us.

Great property, good location and generally enjoyed by all

Lack of backup, common janitorial supplies: garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, soaps, etc. This is an upscale property that shouldn't skimp on these customer support items. More direction is needed on use of 3 keys upon arrival. There are no directions and color-coded dots on the keys wore off a long time ago. There are 3 locks on the front door, only 2 of which are deadbolts needing to be unlocked. Which key(s)? We needed telephone support to get in. Arriving after business hours could leave guests locked out of a very expensive accommodation. Absent these inconveniences, this accommodation would be rated a 10.
