This hotel is a very convenient choice if you're visiting d by train or long-distance bus via d Fabryczna station. The station itself is worth visiting if you're interested in modern architecture. I stayed here for one night. One small thing I noticed is that the entrance is actually easier to spot from the opposite side of the street than from the same side. Across the road there's a large shopping mall, while on the hotel's side you'll find several restaurants serving different cuisines. The hotel also provides information about them on the leaflets available in the room. One thing that really stood out is the entrance. I'm not sure whether there's another entrance, but the one I used from the main street features a wide staircase with large paintings on the walls, which definitely gives the place a boutique-style atmosphere. Although I'd describe it as a mid-range hotel rather than a luxury one, these details give it a more distinctive character. The hotel uses key cards both for entering the building and for your room. Like many hotels, you also need to insert the card into a wall slot to activate the electricity. The only minor inconvenience was finding that slot when arriving late at night. Since the room has no lighting until the card is inserted, I ended up leaving the door slightly open so the corridor light could help me see where the slot was. A small indicator light next to it would make this much more convenient, especially for guests checking in after dark. The room had everything I needed for a short stay: comfortable beds, a table with cups, tea bags, instant coffee, an electric kettle, a TV, a private bathroom with a shower and toilet, a wall-mounted hair dryer, and a small wardrobe. It had the feel of a traditional hotel room rather than a minimalist budget accommodation. While the room wasn't in brand-new condition and showed some signs of use and previous repairs, everything was functional and perfectly suitable for a comfortable overnight stay, which is what I'd expect from a solid mid-range hotel.

Positives: The staff in this hotel are fantastic. Breakfast is good. Hotel is very clean. Location in central Lodz. Issues: WIFI in the rooms themselves is terrible and needs to be addressed by senior managers. Not to have a strong signal for WIFI in this day and age isn’t good. Access to the reception is via a long flight of stairs from the Main Street. They need to instal a lift near the stairs. There is another lift, but that’s via a car park.
