Château de la Ronde

The Chateau is beautiful from the moment you turn into the tree lined driveway, to when Claire meets you and shows you to the beautiful garden and rooms. Every detail has been considered, from the deliciously presented breakfast to the immensely comfortable beds. We particularly enjoyed the coffee and homemade nutty biscuits at breakfast and the beautifully kept pool and inflatables. The location is perfect as a base to visit the surrounding Chateaus, parc bio zoo and Le Cadre Noir horse stables. We had the most perfect week with our teen children, highly recommend.

Beautiful property and grounds. Every amenity has been taken care of and the small details stand out. The location is fantastic for exploring the region and Saumur in particular. Claire was a wonderful host and made us feel at home from the outset. Excellent breakfast by the pool each morning. This is a 5 star experience.
