    Firstly when we reached hotel we were sent to the different hotel (10 mins walk) from here, the only good thing about the other hotel was the location and some of the staff members apart from that the rooms were very small, had a weird smell and a completely shady vibe. Few hotel staff kept on asking when we were going to check-out. Thank god we only had to stay for a night

    A no frills hotel that does the job in a pinch. Expensive for what you’re getting, but you’re paying for the location I guess which is handy.

    The hotel is clean. The location is in the city center, which makes it excellent for evening walks without the need to use a taxi. Breakfast is very good, offering both Vietnamese dishes and Western options. Now for the drawbacks. Please be aware that the owners operate two hotels: the one you book, and another one located across a narrow street. The second hotel is called Splendid Holiday Hotel Hanoi and has one star less. Unfortunately, we were moved to this second hotel. This is not correct practice, even in the case of overbooking. Guests should be informed in advance about such a change, and a corresponding discount should be offered, especially since there is a price difference on Agoda. There is no swimming pool in either of the hotels. Additionally, the owners ask the staff to request maximum review ratings from guests. That said, I would like to highly praise the staff, who are very helpful and friendly. Lili helped us already on the first day at breakfast, providing guidance, answers, and recommendations for sightseeing in Hanoi. She was very knowledgeable and supportive. Overall, I recommend the hotel primarily because of the staff and the cleanliness.

    the hotel staff is very welcoming and helpful but the bad part is the hotel is just beside the famous church and the church ring the bell everyday at 0500hrs and it disturb our sleep.
