About this house rental
Nethercote House is a wonderful 6 bedroom traditional Cotswold stone property dating back to approximately 1780 that offers all the conveniences of modern day living following an extensive renovation. To the front of the property is a traditional Cotswold stone wall with a path leading to both the front door and the door to the utility room. To the side is a gravelled driveway for parking up to 4 cars and solid wooden gates with a security access lock. Behind the gates is a further parking area for an additional 2 cars if required. There is a good size garden enclosed by a stone wall to three sides which is mainly laid to lawn and well stocked borders. A large patio area can be accessed directly via French doors from the kitchen/diner and has a large table and chairs for 8 people and a picnic bench ensuring plenty of outdoor seating. During the summer months a barbecue is available. The games room is located in a wooden clad building in the rear garden and has a table tennis table and table football.

Beautiful house with secluded garden and right in the centre of Bourton on the Water. Plenty of crockery, and kitchen utensils with 2 fridges and a freezer.Very well equipped.Only 6 of us stayed as we all like a bedroom each and nice bedding, pillows and towels.3 large picnic benches in the garden and the table tennis in the large games shed was brilliant fun.There was an issue with the email with all the key/ gate codes going to my spam folder so struggled to get in and when I phoned the host for help he was in Australia!! No reply as obviously in the middle of the night for him.. Had to go to a pub to get WiFi to read my emails and managed to find the codes. Not a great start and apparently the management company didn’t know we were coming!! It had luckily all been cleaned with new bedding towels etc but final checks had not been done. A few issues at the beginning but Caroline who was so lovely, from the management company sorted everything out the next day.Would definitely stay here again at this beautiful Cotswolds stone house.

Property was very clean, plenty of clean towels. Great communication with the host, which helped with a smooth check in. We managed to park 6 cars on the drive. The weekend we were there , the weather was over 30 degrees, I think my only wish would have been for more comfortable garden furniture as we spent the majority of our time outside, but I understand the weather we had was exceptional. By no stretch of the imagination was our wend spoilt, just a ‘would have liked’ comment.

Nice house and facilities in a great location a few minutes walk from the Bourton high street. Next to Birdland and the maze so plenty to entertain the adults and kids. Second time we’ve stayed at Nethercote House, we loved it. Just need one of the TVs a bit bigger for World Cup matches!

10 single adults for reunion weekend. Just about the right size for 10 adults and bed configuration great. Lounge a bit small.
Reasonably well equipped. Lots of pans but needed to double up when cooking for 10. Decor a bit tired but overall good value
