Stephan and his wife were wonderful hosts. The evening meal was delicious and plentiful. I also enjoyed the tour around his art studio. The grounds are peaceful with chickens roaming free. The family room was spacious.
It’s fair trek from the motorway so might not suit everyone who use as a night stopover. The only other small annoyance was the deafening noise the bathroom fan made long after the light had been turned off. Our room was up two flights of steep stairs so again if you have a lot of stuff to cart up there (maybe with small children) it’s something to bear in mind

Een oase van vredige rust verstopt in een stil gehucht in een gebouw met honderden jaren historie. Gerund door de alleraardigste, gastvrije mensen. Er werd zelfs voor ons gekookt (heerlijk!) en we aten het vol gezelligheid op met de andere gasten.

Tout était bien, correcte, mais il nous a manqué ce petit plus pour qu'on se dise waouw... mais nickel pour une nuit. Les lit sont très bon et les propriétaires sympathiques.
