Riad Meriem

En plein centre de la medina, le Riad était calme et reposant. Le personnel, notamment Youssef, était très arrangeant et accueillant.

La propreté n’était pas tout à fait au rendez-vous.

Breakfast was excellent and Yussef was very accommodating and friendly even waking up early to make us breakfast on our last day

Finding it in the first place is tricky but once you’ve found it locations great - a good map would be helpful!

It was an oasis away from everything. Our room was exceptional. Adel was so helpful. Plunge pool amazing on hot days.

Nothing

- Receptionist Adil was a kind and professional person! - There was a problem with the pricing/billing of the meal, but when the receptionist called the manager on phone, it was fixed.

- The fact that our room (black/dark room) is right next to the neighboring riad's roof terrace. Even though our windows were closed, we could hear everything that happened on the terrace, including the cupboards in their kitchen. Very loud guests next door. - Management or reception are hard to reach. When the driver picked us up from the airport to drop us off at the place, it took him ten minutes to get hold of someone. On Booking they also take a few hours to reply, and you never know whom you're speaking to: the manager or one of the receptionists. - The duvet is just as wide as the mattress. If you sleep with someone who takes some of the duvet, you'll be uncovered. - Shower head and faucet need to be replaced and the sofa in the room seems to be just for aesthetics, the cushions move away directly. - Quite far from the main road (Azbezt), and as two women traveling you'll be followed by boys asking for money and kisses all the way to the riad. My experience is that this issue seems to be less if a riad is closer to the main road.
