Dewshore Resort

Very friendly staff and the resort is kept pristine and clean. The rooms are big with AC and hot water in the shower. I stayed in a pool facing villa.

Warning: check party schedule for adjacent beach club. Music was so loud the walls of the cottage literally trembled until 01:00 o clock. What is nice: the cottages, privacy and location. If there is no party next door, then it’s a quiet place with well maintained grounds. The staff however is not helpful, and even experienced some unfriendliness. No room cleanups, no bottles of water after day one. Lots of notes what your limitations as guests are and that you are not in your right to get things that could be considered hospitable.

We stayed here for 4 nights and overall had a really good experience. The location is great, you can easily stay a few days and there are a few restaurants around to choose from. The staff is nice, and you can even order fruit or beer by the pool, which is a nice touch. The pool is definitely a big plus and one of the main reasons we booked. The water is really warm, it’s clean, and there are sunbeds and parasols, so it’s a great place to relax. The only small downside is that some guests can be a bit inconsiderate (playing music out loud, being noisy, or taking up a lot of space), but that’s not really the hotel’s fault. The bungalow was good as well, comfortable mattress, nice terrace, fridge, kettle, hot water, and AC all working fine. The only real downside was the very small windows, so it was hard to get natural light in the morning even without the curtains. They also offer laundry service, but the price seemed quite high compared to other places nearby. Overall, great value for money, and the internet was working well too.

I stayed here for six nights after reading great reviews, but my experience was disappointing. The property feels more like a guesthouse than a resort, with very limited service. The location and views are truly beautiful, but maintenance was a concern. The air conditioner leaked for two days before being fixed, and our concerns were not handled very professionally. At one point, we also found the bathroom ventilator removed, which made us feel unsafe, but this was dismissed without much attention. Service overall felt unwelcoming. Assistance with luggage was not offered, and interactions at times came across as rude. Common areas were often occupied by staff, making it uncomfortable for guests to use them freely. During checkout, there were attempts to charge for unclear reasons, which was disappointing. This place has great potential due to its location and setting, but it would benefit greatly from better maintenance, clearer management, and a more guest-friendly approach.
