The location is very central and close to public transport and the bus station and restaurants and Tartu tourist sites can easily be done on foot . The room is spacious, felt like a studio appartmnet with large comfortable beds .It has a Tv with all options like net flix,you tube etc and AC (with heating and cooling options) There is a well stocked kitchenette on each floor with a kettle and coffee machine along with a fridge .There is also a small room /area outside of the kitchen with a book shelf, a sofa and chairs to relax. Bathrooms very spacious and well laid out. Had read reviews earlier of sewage smell because it's an old building, but I did not face any such issue. They allow you to keep your luggage till 2:30 pm and the staff speak English. It was easy to get instructions on how to check in and check out. Highly recommend

I wish you could switch to a key code system instead of actual keys, because I was travelling solo, I was stressed about locking myself out of the room with my keys and mobile inside when the reception was closed

We were familiar with Tampere Maja prior to our stay. Our family of four was very comfortable in the family room and being able to park behind the building was a huge plus, as the location is very central.

Perfect location for exploring Tartu! We stayed on the top floor, very clean, large room! Easy free parking! Love that there are coffee-making facilities on each floor.
