Far from the best but perfect for a one night stop during your hike

It is not too far from the Alpe-Adria Trail and the price was affordable. The breakfast was good with different choise. I bought a half pension but it was little bit difficult because of the waiter. But the food was tasty.

It is a really old building and everything is pretty old too, but because of this the price is fit for the quality.

Friendly family run (4th generation) basic accommodation and excellent restaurant. Astonishingly good value. Free parking on site. Just what I needed for an overnighter.

The lady at the reception was very kind.

poor breakfast - at 9:00 a.m. there was almost nothing left to eat. There were no vegetables either. A 100-year-old hotel, frozen in time, where a room for one night is not worth 120 euros.

Great location, friendly staff, good value for money

Location was great, Velden is a gem and the hotel is 500m fron where it all happens :) Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was a very good selection. Half board dinner was tasty as well. Enterior a bit dated but liked the character.

Thin walls, wooden floors let us hear every move of every neighbour. Also what we should have known - half board dinner is one option. It was freshly made and delicious but don’t expect buffet selection as I did.

Very good

The hotel is absolutely great value for Velden am Worthersee, which is generally very pricey. The location about seven minute walk from the lake is very convenient and the place itself is full of old-world charm. You’d think you just stepped back into a movie set of the early 60s. Rooms are a bit worn out but sizable and the bathrooms have been upgraded. The gentleman who manages the breakfast room is a real charm who totally completes the classic setting.

Das außergewöhnlich gute Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in der Beschreibung der Unterkunft hat sich in der Realität mehr als bestätigt. Der Charme eines in die Jahre gekommenen Hotels mit besonders zuvorkommenden Gastgebern ist eine tolle Alternative zu überteuerten, seelenlosen Bettenburgen. Die Küche im Restaurant braucht Vergleiche auf Haubenniveau nicht zu scheuen.

Gar nichts. Es muss nicht jede komfortable, saubere Unterkunft in Velden mit Seeblick punkten können.

Wir hatten wohl grosses Pech mit unserem Zimmer, ich gehe davon aus . * Dusche schmutzig * Eine Seite vom Doppelbett eingebrochen * Fernbedingung vom Fernseher ohne Funktion Da wir die Mängel zu spät gemerkt hatten, war eine Behebung spät abends nicht mehr möglich.

Sehr schöner Gasthof mit kleinen sauberen Zimmern! Mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht! Frühstück sehr lecker und ausreichend! Casino, Bars, Promenade nicht weit entfernt! Super Unterkunft für paar Tage im wunderschönen Velden!

Vielleicht zum Frühstück eine kleine Auswahl an süßem Gebäck wie Croissants oder Plundern, aber das Frühstück war trotzdem toll

Angenehm und für den Preis absolut in Ordnung

Die Zimmer waren sauber und durch die ruhige Lage konnte man gut schlafen

Das Bad bzw. die Dusche war eher alt und die Temperatureinstellung gestaltete sich etwas schwierig, aber es war nicht tragisch. Zusätzlich hätte ich mir beim Frühstück etwas mehr Gebäckauswahl gewünscht, zb. Croissants oder ähnliches.

Für eine Nacht war es ok.

Das Frühstück war gut sortiert und mit der freundlichen aber nicht aufdringlichen Art war die Dame die fürs Frühstück zuständig war einfach ein absoluter positiver Bonus für diesen Aufenthalt.Die Nähe zum Zentrum und der Peris waren gut. Sehr sauber!

Die Einrichtung war alt und das Zimmer war sehr muffig. Eine Renovierung würde diesem Hotel sehr gut tun.

Hotel mit tollem Pool

Das Hotel befindet sich fußläufig 5-10 Minuten von den Hotspots in Velden entfernt. Das beste war der Pool. Alles war sauber. Die Inhaberin sehr hilfsbereit, insbesondere bei der Zustellung der Wörtherseecard im Vorfeld.

Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Man hatte das Gefühl, dass man sich in den 70ern befand.
