Nice cosy stay with beautiful view
Very friendly and helpful owners. Breakfast bread service was great as the village is 1km steep small road away. We could even take fresh tomatoes and basile from the garden. Gorgeous view over the Merano valley. Cooler side of the valley when sun goes down. Beautifully located between fruit and vineyards. Plenty to do from very sportive activities to shopping in Merano.

Es waren schöne und erholsame Ferien im Südtirol
Die Lage war erhöht über Lana, daher sehr ruhig und es wehte stets ein angenehm kühler Wind. Die Wohnung war extrem sauber und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Liebenswürdigkeit und Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber ist nicht zu übertreffen. Der morgendliche Brötchenservice haben wir sehr geschätzt, einfach genial. Wenn wir wieder in die Region reisen, wäre der Peilerhof unsere erste Wahl.

Definitiv empfehlenswert
Die Lage oberhalb des Etschtals ist traumhaft. Man könnte stundenlang auf dem Balkon sitzen und nur runterschauen. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Interior der Wohnung ist etwas veraltet (z.B. Fliesendesign im Bad), aber wen das nicht stört und wer auf alle "fancy extras" wie Sauna, Pool etc. verzichten kann, liegt hier goldrichtig. Ich möchte noch erwähnen, dass ich selten / noch nie eine Ferienwohnung erlebt habe, in der alles so Tip-Top sauber war wie hier.
Die schöne Lage oberhalb des Ortskerns hat natürlich den Nachteil, dass man für alle Aktivitäten (insbesondere abendliche) auf das Auto angewiesen ist. Es gibt jedoch (mind.) zwei Buschenschenken in Fussweite, die bis 20 bzw. 21 Uhr geöffnet sind und in denen man gut isst. Im Herbst liegt die Unterkunft (und die Balkone) durch den Osthang schon recht früh im Schatten - dafür kann die Unterkunft freilich nichts.
