This detached villa looks liked it is glued on to the hill, which makes for a nice view of the far surroundings. Quietly located in a cul-de-sac in which you can park your car and with a covered area of 250 square metres villa Ervina offers you a true ocean of space. This makes this residence very suitable for couples. You can find the beach only 6,5 kilometres away, but perhaps you will first want to see if you even want to leave this wonderful villa. When you take a small stairs down, you will arrive at the residence entrance on the first floor, where you will find the snug living room, a completely furnished kitchen, one dining room, 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. From the balcony on this floor you can look out on the magnificent Costa Brava. One floor lower you can find another living room with another balcony. This very spacious terrace has fine seats and a football table. You won’t have to be bored a single day, because you can also use fitness machines or a pool table. And what do you think of having your own swimming pool in the green covered garden, that you can reach when you take the stairs downstairs? You can enjoy a drink at the side of the pool. All the beauty of Ervina will almost make you forget that the beach is waiting for you only 6,5 kilometres away. Wonderful broad sandy beaches located along the nice Mediterranean Sea with behind it the snug boulevard of Lloret. A nice and lively combination, that sometimes makes it difficult to choose where to enjoy the sun from. The lively centre of Lloret is also nearby. Lloret was founded from pre-Roman settlements, that can still be viewed to this day. Mains showpieces are the architectural treasures like the church of San Roma, the castle of Sant Joan and several hermit chapels. The nightlife here is of course also infamous. You can find entertainment in every street here in Lloret. Whether you want to go out for a bite to eat, drink or just want to look for a nice souvenir, it is all possible here. But there are also golf courses, riding schools, a go-cart track and a spectacular swim paradise in the area, that are definitely worth visiting. We had a few cleaning snags at the start of the holiday but these were dealt with in a first class and professional manner by the Villas management. We even had complimentary bottles of Sangria for our troubles. The location is great for family activities many within 10 minutes drive including the beach..
There is no parking in the Villa which is a bummer especially when you have rented a car. The roads are narrow so you worry you will wake up with scrapes to your car hire. The ledges on the balconies are pretty low. Not ideal if you have young children who are very active. The garden was well maintained as was the pool which was a little deep in the shallow end. For young children or swimming beginners this may not be ideal so if you intend to hire this Villa be water confident.
All in all we had a great time.
