The Old Bank Town House

The historic hotel and location were wonderful. Room had great views of harbor and downtown. Jude and all staff at Old Bank House were very nice and accommodating.

The location was great, and the staff were exceptionally helpful.

We had difficulties with our room when we went to check in. There were multiple maintenance issues, including a broken toilet, burned out lightbulbs, and the king size mattress was actually just two twin beds pushed together. The staff did their very best to get the problems fixed, but unfortunately, we had to move rooms twice. We also found the room to be overcrowded with seven pieces of furniture in addition to the 2 1/2 beds. Pictures were taken on the morning that we were checking out, so the beds were not made by the hotel staff it looked much better than this when we checked in

Perfect little boutique hotel in a perfect location right in the heart of Kinsale. In short walking distance of a variety of restaurants, over looking the bay. Our room was cosy and clean and the staff were simply lovely, and the lovely Manager Jude went above and beyond. The cafe was gorgeous. We tried a few local restaurants but the hotel's homemade chowder and pastries were so delicious, and the brioche french toast with berries was incredible. We will def return to KInsale and def try and stay here again.

There is nothing you couldn't like about this hotel.

Check in was very pleasant.. Manager explained if we needed anything there is a number to call the night porter.

After walking around and getting something to eat we came back to our room.. Could not find an iron and a hairdryer. Called the # provided for the night porter. 1st time it sounded like someone picked up but hung up. Second time it went to voicemail. Requested a hairdryer and iron. Never arrived. My wife was talking to Lilly in the cafe and she managed to find a hairdryer. Knobs falling out of the dresser. Radiators not working. Looked like mold on the windows Former Facilities Director of a large Hotel/Casino Somebody did not check to see if the room was ready.
